We are unable to offer non-renewal US passport expedited service at this time due to COVID-19 pandemic and the Department of state closures.

This process is for applicants age 15 & under needing a new passport.

Passports issued to applicants 15 & under are valid for 5 years and are NOT renewable. 

Include one of the following :

Old Passport (undamaged), OR

Official Government issued Birth Certificate  (if born in the US), OR

Certificate of Citizenship  (if born abroad to US parent (s), OR

Naturalization Papers (for citizens through naturalization). 

Proof of citizenship MUST be original or certified copy. NO photocopies or notarized copies are accepted.

The original documents will be return to you with your completed passport.

You can acquire a certified Birth Certificate from the Office of Vital Statistics in your state of birth or to order one, Click Here

Include one of the following

Official Government issued Birth Certificate listing Parent(s), OR

Adoption Decree (with adopting Parent(s) names, OR

Court order establishing guardianship, OR

Certificate of citizenship listing parent(s), OR

Naturalization papers listing parent(s)

The document MUST be original or certified copy. NO photocopy or notarized copies are accepted

The original document will be return to you with your passport.

Please not that this may be the same document(s) that proves the child’s citizenship. In other words if you are using a birth certificate for proof of citizenship, the same document might prove parental relationship. There is no need to include two in this case.

The Department of State requires that BOTH parents consign to the issuance of a passport for child under age of 15 one of the following options must be used:

Both parents appear together in front of the Passport Acceptance Agent (see application authorization ) to sign the government application form DS.11, OR

One parent appears and submits primary evidence of sole authority to apply, OR

One parent appears and submits the second parent’s written statement (DS.3053)of consent authorizing the Department of State to issue the passport

The DS.3053 MUST be notarized.

This Letter of Authorization gives Visa Obtainers permission to represent you at the Department of State. We cannot complete your order without the letter of Authorization.

Each Letter of Authorization MUST be handwritten.

Original signature is required.

All fields are required to be filled in the Letter of Authorization.

Check the first two boxes , DO NOT check the third box , this will cause delay.

In the courier company name field, please handwrite Visa Obtainers Inc.

Valid Driver's License, issued more than 6 months ago

Current Government ID  (city, state or federal)

Current Military ID

If the parent(s) does not possess a valid driver's license (state ID / Military ID), or if license was issued LESS than 6 months ago (even renewal). Additional proof of identity are required.

Copy of travel itinerary, from airline or travel agency with applicant name, travel date and flight info., OR

Copy of ticket showing foreign departure.

Proof of departure is not required for regular service.

One passport type photograph is required. Photos must be recent, taken within the last six months, 2x2 inches, front view, full face, in color and on plain/white background.

Get Application Authorization (passport execution process)

(Applicant Parent (s) Identity Verified  and DS.11 Signature Witnessed)

Once you have collected all the documents required to apply for a new / first time passport you MUST now have your application authorized by local Government official called Passport Acceptance Agents located in Post Offices and Courthouses.

The Passport Acceptance Agent job is:

Witness the signing of the DS.11 passport application form, AND

Verify the applicant's proof of citizenship, AND

Verify the applicant's ID, AND

Verify photo is for the applicant, AND

Administer the passport oath, AND

Collect Government fees, AND

Seal all documents into a sealed envelope, and return the envelope to you.

US Passport Agency Fees  

While at the local Post Office or Court House the following Government fees will be collected:

$ 140 Passport Fee, a check or money order to US Department of State

$ 35 execution fee , a check or money order to your local Post Office or Court House.

Please write your name and date of birth on the check or money order.

LIST OF  DOCUMENTS

The following items MUST be placed inside the sealed envelope executed by the Acceptance Passport Agent at the Post Office or county court house, then all documents MUST be placed inside a FedEx envelope for shipping to Visa Obtainers, Inc.

Proof of Citizenship, AND

The application form DS.11, AND

The passport type photograph, AND

The Government Fees, AND

The first copy of Letter of Authorization, AND

The first copy Proof of Departure, AND

Any other required document.

The following items are NOT sealed inside the sealed envelope and MUST be placed inside your FedEx envelope for shipping to Visa Obtainers, Inc.

The second copy of the DS.11 passport application form (unsigned), AND

The second copy of the Letter of Authorization, AND

The photocopy of the proof of departure, AND

Copy of your online order form.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT send your documents to Visa Obtainers until you have your documents sealed by your local Passport Acceptance Agent.
