The application for the Brazilian e-visa was suspended for a while, but the Brazilian government re-introduced the e-Visa for three nationalities, including Australia, Canada, and the United States.

Nationals of the three countries need to apply for a Brazil e-Visa to enter the country from April 10th, 2024.

With the multiple-entry e -visa, travelers are granted entry into Brazil for up to 90 days (three months), while the issued e-Visas have a 10-year-long validity period.

The Brazil e-visa can be used for the purposes of tourism, business and transit. 

The processing time may take up to 5 business days. However, applicants are recommended to apply for a Brazil visa online even one month prior to the date of a planned trip to ensure peace of mind and visa arrival on time. 

Once processed, the Brazil e-Visa is sent to each applicant via email. The approved visa should be printed out and shown upon arrival in Brazil. 

Required Documents

• Passport Bio Page

  Please provide one clear, color copy of your passport's information page. The scan should be of both pages of your passport when opened and laid flat on the scanner. Do not enlarge or reduce the size of the image in any way.

  Your U.S passport must be valid 6 months beyond your intended stay and must have at least two blank visa pages back to back labeled visa in your passport. 

  I f your passport is not valid for 6 months beyond intended stay, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

• Photo must have been taken within the last 6 months and must NOT be the current photo in your passport.
• The height and width of the photo must be equal.
• The photo background should be a plain, light-colored or white background.
• The photo should present the head, centered within the frame and show the full face, from the top of the hair to the bottom of the chin, front-facing, with eyes open, and no shadows on the face or background. No glasses.

• Company Business Letter, a business letter of responsibility is required. Sample Business letter. It is extremely important that the business letter includes this statement “no technical work or assistance will be provided during this visit.”

Depending on the decision of the Immigration Office, it may be valid for a year or longer.

The Brazil e-Visa allows you to enter the country multiple times for up to 90 days. In one year, you cannot spend longer than 180 days in the country.

A copy of your Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) or valid US visa and I-94 is required.

If you entered the USA after April 26th 2013 you should print the electronic I-94 form.

Proof of residential address in the United States: clear copy of applicant driver’s license or state issued photo ID. Parent’s ID can be submitted for children. Address on the Drivers License must match address on the visa application form.

A clear enlarged photocopy or scanned copy of your drivers license or ID is recommended.

Please send a copy of your  itinerary from airline or travel agency . The itinerary must show the applicant's name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information. 

Copy of your most recent Bank Statement is required.

Copy of School Confirmation of Acceptance is required.

Applicants over 18 years old must submit an FBI Clearance

Medical insurance while in Brazil is required.
